My role as your therapist is not to fix you, but to understand you. I’m a marriage and family therapist, which means we don’t just look at the problems; we explore the bigger picture. We see how your relationships, family, culture, and lived experiences have impacted you. I use a warm and caring approach as I sit beside you to experience the discomfort. I stay with you and listen so I can show up in a way that helps you feel safe.

Under the weight of systemic violence and oppression, the ability to play, to grieve, to laugh, and to cry are all radical acts of resistance. It is my hope as a therapist to build a foundational relationship with my clients as they navigate the dance between their internal and external worlds.

All of your emotions deserve to be felt, processed, and heard, unconditionally. As a queer therapist, I aim to help you feel present enough to fully experience what’s going on in your life—the heavy and the joyful, the messy and the unconventional. Through talk therapy and playful sprinkles of poetry, music, art, and improv, we can work together to create the safety you need to be vulnerable.

Whether you’re living through a big transition, grief, chronic pain/illness, or recovering from trauma, I want to walk by your side. In therapy, we will carve out a space for you to feel and explore what comes up for you, week by week, without judgment, so that you feel prepared to take your next step. We will talk about hard things, but we’ll also laugh, play with fidget toys, and celebrate your strengths and milestones.
