psychotherapist
Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and intentional. I believe healing begins when people feel safe, seen, and understood, drawing from Maslow’s hierarchy of needs to ensure stability, belonging, and dignity before deeper work unfolds. My approach is trauma-informed and psychodynamic at its core, integrating CBT, solution-focused strategies, and narrative therapy to help clients understand patterns, reclaim their stories, and move toward meaningful change—always attuned to identity, context, and lived experience.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating identity development, racialized stress, trauma, and life transitions. My background in education and mental health led me to social work as a way to bridge personal healing with systemic awareness.
I know starting therapy can feel vulnerable and uncertain. You don’t have to arrive with everything figured out—just a willingness to begin. Together, we can slow things down, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and build toward a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with who you are becoming.
