MSS, LSW
Psychotherapist

Therapy is for everyone, not just folks experiencing crisis or those experiencing life’s more difficult struggles. Everyone deserves an affirming therapist and a therapeutic space where they can discuss any and all challenges or concerns. I facilitate this by being a cheerful, warm, and active participant during sessions. I find that my clients appreciate and benefit from my engaging demeanor and the colorful metaphors I use to convey concepts.

I am passionate about supporting clients with whom I share lived experiences. As a Chinese immigrant, non-binary person, and nerd, I specialize in working with queer and trans adults, people of color, immigrants, and my fellow geeks. My client centered and strength based approach is particularly helpful when working with these communities.

I incorporate aspects of Geek Therapy into sessions. This approach centers individual passions to build trust, connection, and mental wellness. I look forward to helping you gain “experience points” as you navigate your journey and to congratulate you when you “level up” your mental wellness!
