Vero Rubinshteyn
Intern
I bring warmth and honesty into the space we create together. I see therapy through a liberatory, harm reductionist, and trauma informed lens. I am deeply community minded and relational, while holding onto the realities of inter-generational, systemic, or interpersonal harm.
I work alongside you to uncover strengths that are always already there for you to draw from. Life has many pain points; I do not steer clear of them, nor do I ask you to. Together we can work towards healing slowly and compassionately without abandoning ourselves and our experiences in the process. I believe that understanding ourselves can be a transformational experience that leads to more connective and dynamic relationships to ourselves and our communities.
During our sessions we will work on building a carefully constructed trust, at your own speed. I will remain flexible during this process. My hope is that as a result of your therapeutic work that you will see greater self esteem, increased ability to cope with distress, and feel joy.
