psychotherapist

You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re living through a big transition, grief, chronic pain/illness, or recovering from trauma, I want to walk by your side. In therapy, we will carve out a space for you to feel and explore what comes up for you, week by week, without judgment, so that you feel prepared to take your next step. We will talk about hard things, but we’ll also laugh, play with fidget toys, and celebrate your strengths and milestones.

We will explore how the forces and relationships in your life affect you today. As we separate social systems, relationships, and trauma from your core self, you’ll tap into your body’s innate wisdom, curiosity, and self-compassion. I’ll share tools – movement, mindfulness, communication, boundaries – and help you craft them into habits that work for you. I will draw on my own experiences with trauma, (bi)sexuality, gender, chronic illness, grief, sensitivity, and whiteness, while also learning from and honoring your experiences.

Opening up to a new therapist can feel so vulnerable! If you’re here, you’re already practicing bravery and acting with love for your deeper self. Though I’ll be the one guiding our sessions, you’re always in control of what we talk about and when. We will move at the pace of trust, and I will gently challenge and encourage you one step at a time.
