mss Candidate
Clinical Intern

Growing up with a queer identity, we can learn from a very young age that vulnerability is dangerous, not just from hostile powers-that-be, but sometimes within our own families and peer circles-- the people that we learn our very first relational dynamics from. Overloaded with “what-ifs” and “don’ts”, we learn to distrust or stifle our instincts within our bodies and our hearts. Safety can start to feel like an impossibility, but this doesn’t have to be true for us. The space we create together will prioritize that safety, and we can work together to find what that looks like for you. You don't have to have it all figured out!

In addition to experience in harm reduction and trauma-informed recovery, my background in the arts can help inform the tools we use to sift thru internalized phobias and explore conceptions outside of binaries while we empathetically consider your relationship to substances, familial dynamics, or work thru religious trauma. Where we go is totally up to you!

You are an inextricable part of a planet where over 1500 species do gay stuff, where flowers bloom after devastating traumas, and tiny seeds become massive trees.

I’m so glad you’re here with us-- you're worth it!
