psychotherapist
I picture us in our therapeutic dynamic driving a little car and heading to your destination. You’ll be in the driver’s seat, and I will be the passenger supporting you while you take the lead. I provide a collaborative approach in the therapeutic space. I will work with you and support your journey. I use humor in my sessions, many metaphors and bring in a playful approach in your care. I imagine therapy as a place where you develop room to heal and grow with someone who will support you through the process. Si buscas una terapista que hable español, estoy aquí para apoyarte.
If you have experienced grief, whether it is a physical death of a loved one, or experienced disenfranchised grief or ambiguous loss, I seek to create a warm and comforting space in your bereavement. If you are someone who identifies as BIPOC, has dealt with any microaggressions and racism, I am here to hold space in processing those encounters.
The connection I build with my clients is important to me, and the way I can continue to foster that is through having an open mind, open heart and being willing to receive feedback because your care and success is important.
