B Mitchell
MSW, LSW
Psychotherapist
B believes that in many ways, therapy is simply the art of living life. It's about the things that make life rich - our relationship to ourselves, to others, to our partners, to our kids; it's about finding our way in the world, recognizing our gifts, and recovering and recuperating from the pain life can bring.
As a therapist, B keeps it real. Even if you're not feeling hopeful about your own wellness right now, they are prepared to work with you to discover what healing may look like for you. They are trained in traditional practice modalities, and also know that so much healing and resilience happens outside of traditional pathways. B brings their background in social justice work to their therapy practice, and sees individual, interpersonal, and collective trauma healing as a spectrum from trauma therapy to movement building. B brings curiosity, honesty, compassion, and honesty to all of their work.
