Allie
Etzin
MSW, LSW
Psychotherapist
Allie aims to create a therapeutic environment that promotes vulnerability, growth, and radical self love. Allie's compassion, non-judgmental curiosity, and sense of humor create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and heard. Therapy with Allie will always be trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and will take into consideration the impact someone's environment, social location (race, class, gender etc.), and upbringing has on their mental health. She will always keep it real and recognize that healing looks different for everyone. Allie stresses the importance of interpersonal connections and community care, recognizing that nobody can, or should have to, heal in isolation.
Allie’s passion areas include eating disorder recovery, fat acceptance, trauma treatment, and gender & sexuality. She is also well-versed in working with folks struggling with relationship difficulties. Allie looks forward to meeting you where you’re at on your healing journey, and to cheering you on as you grow and flourish.
